Beads of Courage - Colour Run

The Colour Run Saskatchewan benefitting Beads of Courage-Canada is an un-timed 5 km event open to people of all skill levels. Participant will pass through colour stations, accumulating colours on their bodies - symbolizing the colourful strands of beads these courageous children use to tell the stories of their medical journeys.

The course is in the park North of the Bessborough Hotel. The run will begin at 9am on June 2nd. Participants should arrive early to enjoy the atmosphere and get ready to run! The wheelchair and stroller accessible course will be lined with stations where volunteers will throw coloured celebration powder (made from cornstarch) at those participating in the run.

Your $45 registration includes a white T-shirt to wear at the run, other goodies, and also your TEAM Beads of Courage Carry A Bead™ Kit.

With your Carry A Bead Kit™, you will receive a set of matching beads for you to wear or carry on the run in honor of a child in the program. At the end of the run, you can fill out your story card and write a note of enCOURAGEment! One of your beads will be given to a child in the program, and the other will be yours to keep!

For optimum colour saturation, white clothing is highly recommended! Feel free to wear brightly coloured accessories!

If you are unable to attend, but would like to support the Beads of Courage Programs in Saskatchewan, you may make a donation here.

This will be an amazing event. Come out with your whole family and have a great time and support a wonderful cause!
