in motion Leaders Symposium

Your school is invited to attend the
2012 in motion Leaders Symposium
Wed, October 17,  2011
U of S Physical Activity Complex
12:30 – 3:30pm

We are excited to announce that our guest speaker will be Olympic Bronze medal female soccer player Kaylyn Kyle!
The purpose of the symposium is to provide teachers and student leadership groups the opportunity to start planning and finding ways to make physical activity a regular part of the day at their schools. The symposium can be attended by both elementary and high school student leadership teams. During the symposium, students and teachers will work together in fun team building, team planning, and facilitated discussion sessions. The 2012-2013 in motion Leaders Symposium is a great opportunity to build an in motion team and involve student leaders in the planning and delivery of in motion at your school.

School teams can be made up of your school administrator, School Community Council Representatives, Parents, Public Health Nurse, SRC Advisors, and of course, the students (i.e., 2 or more students with an interest in being school leaders).
The theme of the symposium this year is Let the Games Begin! To help inspire the group a special guest speaker will be in attendance to help kick-off the symposium.

Register your school team online by October 15, 2012 (schools within the Saskatoon Health Region)
