Women and Queer Program Kickoff (learning bike maintenance)
Please join us on June 18 between 1 pm to 4 pm for the kickoff of our Women and Queer Program! Free admission
If you identify as a woman, trans, two-spirit, and/or non-binary, please drop by to get a tour of our shop and meet some of our volunteers. This program will be lead exclusively by volunteers who self-identify as women, trans, two-spirit, and/or non-binary. There will be snacks!
Our Women and Queer Program will be offered on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. The purpose of our Women and Queer Program is to help encourage and empower those who have been deterred from learning bike maintenance due to past experiences. The BCBC welcomes these communities to learn bike maintenance in a supportive and unapologetic environment.
If you do not identify as a woman, trans, two-spirit, and/or non-binary, we ask you support this important initiative by respecting the space and not entering during the Women and Queer program. Instead, feel free to drop by during our weekly scheduled shop hours on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The Women and Queer Program will be offered on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.
