Summer Outdoor Fitness Program 2015

Free summer outdoor fitness classes at Kiwanis Park North.  Gather your friends and co-workers and register with the providers listed below.

PILATES CORE FUSION  (June 2, 4, 9 & 11)
Provided by: Lead Pilates
Combines the movement of a Pilates mat class with postural, core strengthening and toning benefits of our famous Eccentric and Booty Barre. Maximum of 25 participants.

HOW TO RUN  (June 16, 18, 23 & 25)
Provided by: Craven S.P.O.R.T Services
Improve running efficiency with a focus on injury prevention, functional movement exercises, flexibility, strength and power. Maximum of 20 participants.

ZUMBA for ADULTS & KIDS (June 30; July 2, 7 & 9)
Provided by: Zumba with Joanne (YMCA)
A Latin dance inspired fitness class that is FUN, FUN, FUN! No dance experience necessary, just follow the instructors lead. Kids ages 7-12 are welcome to register with an adult. Maximum of 25 participants.

URBAN POLING  (July 14, 16, 21 & 23)
Provided by: City of Saskatoon Leisure Centres
A joint-friendly, full body cardio and muscular workout. Pole walking instruction followed by a walk along Meewasin Trail. Poles provided. Maximum of 25 participants.

PHYSIQUE   (July 28 & 30; August 4 & 6)
Provided by: Motion Fitness
Combines the muscle sculpting benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of yoga. Using your body weight you’ll perform exercise to define every muscle. Bring a mat. Maximum of 30 participants.

YOGA  (Aug 11, 13, 18 & 20)
Provided by: Namaskar Yoga
This class will focus on basic poses, breathing, stretching, strengthening and relaxation at your own pace in a comfortable environment. Bring a mat.
