July 27, 2009 – Saskatoon – Saskatoon Emergency Service (EMS) providers and other organizations concerned about the number of vehicle/pedestrian collisions occuring on Saskatoon streets each year came together today to launch “Heads Up”, an awareness campaign to remind Saskatoon residents they need to pay more attention to traffic safety rules. The campaign was officially launched by Saskatoon Mayor Don Atchison and the campaign partners and supporters.

On July 20th, 2007 we lost a friend, colleague, husband, father and grandfather, Russ Kisby. In memory of his life's work and passion we commemorate the anniversary of his death with a fitwalk.

The Sunset Estates community is focusing on its pre-school children and making some positive changes. A play group for pre-school children was officially opened on Wednesday, May 27th in the Sunset Estates Community Hall.
